Helsons LLP is the oldest and largest Law Firm in Halton Hills with offices in Acton and Georgetown. Our firm history traces back to 1885, being the third oldest continuous Law firm in Ontario. The Firm's first female partner was the first female lawyer in the Halton Peel County Law Association, was the fourth female lawyer in Ontario to be designated as ”King’s Counsel” and was one of four female federal members of Parliament. The first mayor of Georgetown was a partner. Numerous partners moved on to be judges.
We now have seven lawyers, three female and four male, specializing in Family Law, Real Estate, Commercial and Corporate Law, Estate Planning, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Civil Litigation. We have been the recipient of the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce Large Business of the Year Award and the Halton Hills Reader’s Choice Awards for Best Legal Office in Halton Hills.”
