As most of you know I like looking back at the history of North Halton.  Below are some pictures from the time that North Halton became a Club owned by shareholders  in 1954.  

The first picture shows what looks like women going down the first hole (yes the first hole) and the original clubhouse located where our 11th tee is now.  To the left of the clubhouse looks to be the first hole tee when it was a 9 hole course.


Below is an aerial view of the course as it is now.  Some semblance of the 1st green in 1954 is still there.  It is used for sod now.  In the picture below, the square represents the original clubhouse and the circle, the green.  The current club house is in the lower left hand corner.


Below is a picture of the original club house taken from the side.  A beautiful home.

This Saturday we will begin another season - our 66th Opening Day!  We missed last year.
