Marg spoke so eloquently and without notes about how 

fortunate we are to be able 

to play such a beautiful golf course as North Halton.

Marg joined North Halton in 1965 and became a very active member by competing in the Club Championships winning the 1990/1994/1998 C Flight Championship.  In the 9 hole section she won the 1975/1976 Championship and the 1975/1976/1977 Handicap Championship.

In 1998 she was the Ladies Club Captain.

Marg didn't just collect trophies.  She gave back by taking on Publicity for 4 years and co-chaired Ringer Board for two years.

Not just a one sport athlete she defeated Audrey Houston in the Ladies Tennis Championship and now plays Pickle Ball.

Marg's chosen careen was teaching and she worked at various area schools.  As a natural extension that Teachers have of wanting to help people, Marg did so by volunteering at a Help Line Distress Centre and also volunteered to help Underprivileged Kids.  It takes a special person to volunteer for these jobs.
