Yours truly got a hole in one!  I was playing my singles match play vs Melissa yesterday (Saturday) 15 June - and when we started 17, I was two holes down.  I went first, hit my shot with my driver, went crazy when I hit the green and let the others hit.  After pondering  whether to take my chipper or my 56 degree up to the hole, I decided to take my chipper & putter (figuring I couldn’t be too far off the green).  We walked up the hill and Melissa and I could not find our balls.  After searching quite a bit Melissa jokingly said “Maybe you got a hole in one and it’s in the hole.  So I go “Yea as if” and I heard her scream.  She screamed “It’s in the hole!!”  So yes it indeed WAS in the hole”.  The rest is a blur!  And the added bonus is that Melissa - for the very first time - broke 100!  I played well but she played outstandingly well and won by 2 holes!

It was an emotional occasion for me because my Dad got a hole in one and it’s Father’s Day today (Sunday)!  Here is a pic of my dad’s hole in one certificate- on hole 17 as well!!
